Who are the faces behind Monkey in the Garden, you ask?

MICHAEL

Michael has worked tirelessly to bring this labour of love to fruition. He has spent the past five years working with some of the world’s most renowned authorities on organic food and wholefoods cooking and has apprenticed under master organic farmers. In addition, he earned his certification as a herbalist from Dominion Herbal College.

BRANDIE

In early 2008, Michael visited the farm of Brandie MacArthur; he has never really left. He found in Brandie an ideal partner. Someone who could match his unbridled enthusiasm and love for organic farming. She won his heart with fresh goat milk cappuccinos and her delicious desserts. They have been inseparable ever since.
In addition to being a skilled farmer, Brandie is also a skilled artisan. She makes up half of The Mountain Mommas. Click here to find out more

CHAR aka Momma Monkey

Char is, among many other things, the mother of Brandie, the other half of the Mountain Mommas, the glue that keeps Monkey in the Garden together, the voice of reason, the spark that keeps the fires alight, the innovator of Spelt baking, etc, etc. She makes the best spelt muffins you will ever eat, then will brush it off like it was nothing at all.
